At Porto & Tiles, we offer a variety of fabrique tiles (azulejos) that are perfect for any interior or exterior design project. Our tiles were made using traditional techniques that have been passed down for generations.

Our azulejos were made from high-quality materials that were built to last for years to come and come in a variety of colors and patterns, making them perfect for any design project.

Our tiles are vintage, antique and original. The conpanies that used to make them closed doors long time ago. So, they will not be reproduce.

These works are the result of the union between designer Yevgenia Tsyba and Porto & Tiles.

Yevgeniya Tsyba, designer formed by FBAUP, with numerous works in the national and international market. Yevgeniya's portfolio can be seen here.

Porto & Tiles is a space dedicated to the collection and sale of discontinued tiles from national factories, factories that are no longer in operation.

The initial step of this union was the adventure of traveling from north to south in the country in search of tiles - forgotten, lost, abandoned and hidden.

After the immense logistical work, the artistic work followed. This boils down to showing the public the diversity of industrial tiles resulting in a composition where an image is identified.

Recognizing in this image the tiles from our childhood, as all of us, at some point, have seen these patterns at the homes of our grandparents, uncles, friends. We remember these good times.

Since our work is not a pioneer in this area, we are very pleased with the result obtained in this partnership.

Public acceptance has been huge, hence the next step - the online market.

Each panel is made of 15 x 15 tile squares cut in 4. A 160 cm by 240 cm panel is made up of 600 pieces of around 100 different patterns.

SIXTIES SERIES

This series is made with tiles from factories Carvalhinho, Secla and others made in earliest 50-60. We are the only place in country with large stock of many sizes and colors. Each panel is diferent and you can find this composition exclusively in our shop. Dimension may vary, but our personal preference are 60 x 60 cm and 40 x 40 cm. Each tile is 5 x 5, 10 x 10, 15 x 15, 15 x 5 and 15 x 7.5 cm.
